Upon opening of the “fishery expo”, Lianjiang County which has been China No.1 abalone breeding county held Abalone festival for first time. Chen Zeluan, vice director of Fujian Department Ocean and Fisheries Administration was on hand to congratulate the opening. After being investigated and evaluated by experts of China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Association which is the most authoritative evaluation agency, the county was awarded the title of “China Land of Abalone”.
